I am writing to give you some feedback regarding your BC9 body armour. My 15 year old son who rides AMCA Experts was racing last weekend when he was involved in a crash which involved him hitting a rider who had come off in front of him. The fallen riders back end of his bike flipped in the air & my son ended up between the wheel & the mudguard.  He received a bang to the chin which knocked him out. This resulted in a CAT scan, xrays & a night in hospital. Fortunately he got away with cuts, bruises & a burnt arm of the exhaust of the other rider.  I put the fact that he suffered no serious injuries down to the protective equipment he was wearing. Arai helmet, Leatt neck brace & Knox BC9 body armour.  The BC9 was exposed to a significant impact at the bottom of the back section. A chunk of material has been ripped out & the force snapped the stitching which holds the front sections Velcro strap. I have since had my sewing kit out to repair the Velcro strap. I am not sure what caused the damage? It could have been another rider who caught my son whilst he was involved in the crash or it could have happened when he hit the fallen rider. Either way, without the absorbing protection that the Knox armour provides he may have been much worse off.  Many thanks,  L Jones.
