I am writing to thankyou for the knox chest protector that i recently bought from the rocket centre in blackburn,
due to the recent tragic deaths in motorbike racing mostly caused by riders being run over i thought it wise to try one, i raced 2 weeks ago at oulton park in the thundersport series, but unfortunatly i high sided in the wet coming out of hizzy chicane,
i landed on my back, which was saved by my knox back protector,but as i was on the floor i was run over by a fellow racer,
he hit me full on at about 60mph in the chest and stomach and knocked me out, i woke up not being able to get my breath as though i had been hit by a sledgehammer, the medics arrived immediately and asked me if i was wearing any protection,
i replied that yes i had a knox back protector and chest protector on and they replied "good lad".  i suffered a ruptured appendix and perforation of the bowel, but am 100% convinced that if i had not had my chest protector on that i would have been seriously injured or even killed, i have told all my fellow racers that they MUST buy a chest protector, and i will never ride a bike again without one, i think back and chest protectors should be enforced by the acu as a mandatory piece of safety equipment. Unfortunatley i've had to use them already! I was hit by another rider after the race had been stopped, I had slowed to about 20mph for the red flags due to an incident on the start line and another rider a few bikes back hadn't spotted the reds and hit me directly from behind doing atleast 80-90mph.

As you can imagine the resulting impact was a large one, the other rider knocked themselves unconcious on my back and i have broken my radius,ulnar and scathoid in my left arm and hand. Amazingly i barely have a sore neck and my back is absoloutley fine!!
 
I strongly feel this is due to the quality of your product and have been doing my best to promote it to everyone i know, it has been tryed and tested now in a large accident and proven its worth.
 
I feel compelled to send you this since i feel very lucky and could be in a far worse condition were it not for your equipment and for that i am very gratefull!"
