For stunt riding I like to wear Kevlar jeans with the stock armour removed. I always wear the cross shorts and cross-lite long knee guards underneath. Hi, I was racing in the Knockhill Race club preinjection 600 race series Sunday 3rd June, when I, unfortunately highsided out of the race at approximately 120mph on the back straight at Knockhill. I was wearing Knox handroid gloves, a knox aegis back protector with Knox chest protector, and knox padded impact shorts. I am happy to report that although knocked out cold…. I had no upper or lower torso damage, due no doubt to the excellent protective qualities of the knox body armour. I am also pleased to report that I sustained no hand/digit damage thanks to the handroid gloves.  It is remarkable that despite the speed and ferocity of the accident I emerged relatively unscathed thanks to my knox protection!  I’ll be purchasing a new knox back protector and shorts, as I was cut out of these at the trackside, and I wont be going racing ( or when I ride on the road) without Knox protection!.  Gerry, via email

"The cross light shorts fit amazingly, the one piece thigh/hip protection moulds to the shape of your legs within the first ride. The shorts are very lightweight, streamlined and provide excellent protection for your thighs, hips and your tail bone. You cant even see that you are wearing them. After crashing in february when i had forgotten my shorts i broke my right femur, since then the shorts have given me the confidence to race despite being injured. I now never forget my Knox shorts!!!"
